Funny story: we decided to take a few weeks off, so we could all do our college exams. Ran a little longer then expected ;). In any case, we've been working on the comic projects since we last updated, and we've resumed making the weekly pin ups, so this DA should be updating regularly again soon.

Edit: It appears we've already updated the DA with a litle something. Enjoy the many renditions of Skat!

This week's pin up is based on my favorite series currently running on ECC, Knux Redux.

You'll notice the unconventional coloring style that it's creator Kenzo came up with. No, Kragok isn't actually an albino. Rather, the coloring style in the series is meant to draw the reader's focus to what's important on the page. Knuckles is fully colored in a black and white world to draw attention to him as an important character in the comic. Kragok is white because he had too much color, with four colors. So his fur was left white.

It's a rather unique coloring style as far Sonic comics, and in my opinion it came out rather well, especially in the second issue. You can check it out on our website. www.emeraldcoastcomics.com

Also, another note. An all new series will be coming to ECC momentarily. You'll see what we meean in the coming weeks. :)

Yeah....sorry Jet. Not like you guys can't see it anyway XD. But our first weekly pin up is up. The Sonic Pulse rendition of Princess Sally, SEGA-ized, modernized, and dolled up to look a bit like a certain modern female politician. Those who say Sarah Palin will be shot on site with something very painful and explosive.

Go on. Say it.

The newest issue of one of our series, Knux Redux, is now up! You can catch a five page preview in the gallery. If you like it, take a look at the whole issue over at www.emeraldcoastcomics.com!
Welcome to Emerald Coast Comic's official Deviant Art page :D. Here, we will post concept art, preview pages for upcoming comics, and the occasional script. We will also be posting pin ups, including an ALL NEW weekly pin up every Friday.

Emerald Coast Comics is a website devoted to the best parts of the more creative parts of the Sonic fandom. You will find no yaoi or furry art here. We are devoted to working towards proffesionally done online comic stories. Our team members are devoted to eventually going into the comic book industry as proffesional artists and writers, and helping younger and less experienced artists reach their full potential.

We have several projects on the works. At the moment, our flagship comic series is Knux Redux, a reimagining of the classic Knuckles comic book series. But our true flagship series, headlined by Sonic the Hedgehog, called "Sonic Pulse", will be launching this summer.

To see these comics, go to www.emeraldcoastcomics.com
